I have made this using my latest experiments with origami techniques. I love Japanese pop culture and this is from my kawaii garden! As a youth worker I often try and come up with projects that are young and would appeal to a younger artist. I believe the arts open many doors for young people and also assist in a therapeutic process for professionals working in the "helping" fields.

Salvaged bead
I had made this bead and wasn't happy with the outcome, added some paint, then carved it out..and while it has a raw and messy finish I actually like the end result! Moral of the story don't throw anything away..you just never know when you will get inspired to make some adjustments! Oh and yes it is now a ring!

These amazing bangles were made for the Aussiepolyclayers march challenge by a member, Sabine of papagodesigns. Our little group is producing some inspiring and innovative work and I believe is destined to have a bright future with the fabulous Leadership of DEBBIE Crothers!
